Chile - New Article 170 bis of the Sanitary Regulation of the Food, Supreme Decree N ° 977/96 of the Ministry of Health.

The purpose of this proposal is to establish a maximum level of Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) in food based on hemp (Cannabis sativa) by including a new article in Paragraph V of other contaminants and residues of TITLE IV OF THE CONTAMINANTS AND WASTE.

ARTICLE 170 bis The content of Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) in hemp seed used for human food and feed based on it shall not exceed 10 mg THC / kg feed

Proposed date of adoption (dd/mm/yy): To be published in the Official Gazette.

Proposed date of publication (dd/mm/yy):  80 days from the date of distribution of the notification
