China - Effluent Standard for Water Pollutants from Ships

This standard regulates discharging limits and monitoring requirements of oil-polluted sewage and sewage from ships, the emission control requirements of sewage containing noxious liquid substances and garbage from ships, and the requirements of implementation and supervision of this standard, etc.

This standard applies to the emission management for discharging of oily water, sewage, waste water containing noxious liquid substances and garbage from ships to the environment in waters within the jurisdiction of the People's Republic of China.

Proposed date of adoption: 90 days after circulation by the WTO Secretariat

Proposed date of entry into force: 6 months after adoption

Final date for comments: 60 days after circulation by WTO Secretariat
